The Armada Trace 108 is a great all mountain ski that dominates in the backcountry. The ski has a full wood Caruba core which is a lightweight wood that excels at providing a lightweight and easy to move while the adaptive carbon mesh that runs the length of the ski is made thicker and thinner in certain locations to provide more stiffness or less stiffness in key parts of the skis like the tips and tails. The ski has a binding retention plate made of Titanal which is an alloy that serves to keep things in place and adds a stiffness underfoot. The 108mm underfoot measurement is a great width for nearly any snow conditions.
